Service Description

This is the perfect class to come and deepen your knowledge - learn the fundamentals of the wonder that is Pilates. Feel it in your own body and notice the difference it brings to your life. Great for anyone new to Pilates or coming through rehab, long covid, injury, or if you just wondered what it is all about - perhaps you have only ever done Pilates in a gym before and have never been taught the 'beginnings'...if so - come along - this class is for you! The £70 is for the 6 week block and cannot be carried over, prioritise yourself and come every week! Your body will thank you for it. There will be relaxation at the end of class - Time for your body and mind to relax and release and replenish. Time for you. If you have not worked with me before, please get in touch before booking so I can get an understanding of your individual requirements.

Cancellation Policy

For 1:1, 2:1 and private classes I require a minimum of 24 hours notice for changes/cancellations. Your appointment times are reserved for you and I need an adequate amount of time should I need to reschedule/reallocate that appointment. If you need to cancel or change an appointment on a Monday please let me know via email by 4pm on Friday. Any changes/cancellations occurring with less than 24 hours notice as specified above, will be charged the full amount. The Group Classes are paid for as a block and cannot be carried over - please try your best to come each week. Commit to yourself. Thank you This entitles you to a course of 5 classes online on Thursday at 6pm. It is not transferable. Please advise us before commencing any session if, for any reason, your health or your ability to exercise changes. It is inadvisable to do Pilates between weeks 8 to 14 of pregnancy, unless by special arrangement with your teacher. It is also wise to wait six weeks after the birth before resuming exercise. Pilates exercises are very safe but, as with all forms of physical exercise, it is prudent to consult your doctor before starting Pilates sessions. These sessions are not a substitute for medical counselling or treatment. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the exercises, you should refer back to your medical practitioner. The teacher can accept no liability for personal injury or death related to participation in a session if: • Your doctor has, on health grounds, advised you against such exercise • You fail to observe instructions on safety or technique • Such injury is caused by the negligence of another participant in the class/studio Exercise should be performed at a pace which feels comfortable for you. Pain is the body’s warning system and should not be ignored. Please inform your teacher immediately if you feel any discomfort during a session. Please also inform your teacher if you felt any discomfort after a previous session. I understand that Helen Pilates exercises involve hands-on correction and I hereby consent for my teachers to work in this way.
